WHAT IS HOLOGRAM

A hologram is a three-dimensional image created by the interference of light beams from a laser or other coherent light source. Unlike photographs or other two-dimensional images, holograms allow the viewer to see an object from different angles and perspectives, giving the illusion of depth and dimensionality. The term "hologram" comes from the Greek words "holos," meaning whole, and "gramma," meaning message or information. To create a hologram, a laser beam is split into two parts: the reference beam and the object beam. The object beam is directed onto the object being recorded, while the reference beam is directed onto a recording medium, typically a photographic plate or film. The interference patterns between the two beams are captured on the recording medium, creating a hologram. When the hologram is illuminated by a laser beam, the recorded interference patterns are recreated, producing a three-dimensional image of the object. Holograms have a wide range of applications, including in security, art, and entertainment
